Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing local healthcare issues, honoring military service members, and advocating for financial policy changes.
On August 5, 2025, Joyce highlighted his engagement with local officials about healthcare in Trumbull County: "I was glad to meet with the Trumbull County Commissioners, Insight, and other local officials regarding Trumbull Regional Medical Center. This hospital is vital to delivering care for the region, and I will continue working with local officials to reopen it as soon as possible."
Two days later, on August 7, he paid tribute to military personnel who have been wounded or lost their lives in service: "Today, we honor the heroes who were wounded or gave their lives to protect this nation. As the son of a Purple Heart recipient, I am incredibly grateful for the men and women who have made immense sacrifices in defense of our freedom."
Later that day, Joyce commented on banking regulations and recent federal actions: "The federal government shouldn't be able to shut down bank accounts because of outdated reputational risk claims. Having consistently fought against debanking in Congress, I want to thank President Trump for acting on this issue. On the legislative front, I will continue to work".
David Joyce has represented Ohio’s 14th District since replacing Steve LaTourette in 2013. Born in Cleveland in 1957 and currently residing in South Russell at age 66, Joyce holds both undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Dayton.
