Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, posted a series of tweets on August 29, 2025, highlighting local achievements and legislative efforts.

In one post, Joyce commemorated a fallen Marine from his district: "Sergeant Weninger, who went by Kyle or Wolf, was a local sports legend at Kenston High School. After joining the Marines in 2015, he joined the MARSOC Raiders and rose to the rank of sergeant. Tragically, Kyle (28) passed away following a training accident on June 16, 2020." (August 29, 2025).

He followed up with information about recent legislation: "In the 118th Congress, I introduced legislation to designate the Chesterland Post Office as the 'Sgt. Wolfgang Kyle Weninger Post Office Building'. This bill was signed into law on November 25, 2024. See more information below." (August 29, 2025).

Later that day, Joyce expressed appreciation for a healthcare institution in his district: "Thank you to @ClevelandClinic for hosting me at their Mentor Hospital, where I saw their top-notch facility and mobile medical unit (MMU), which helps sexual assault nurse examiners (SANE) provide medical care to victims across Northeast Ohio." (August 29, 2025).

David Joyce has represented Ohio’s 14th District in Congress since replacing Steve LaTourette in 2013. Born in Cleveland in 1957 and currently residing in South Russell, Joyce is an alumnus of the University of Dayton with both undergraduate and law degrees.
