Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, posted a series of messages on his social media accounts between September 1 and September 3, 2025, addressing local workers, commemorating the end of World War II, and announcing congressional proceedings.

On September 1, Joyce marked the national holiday with a message to his constituents: "Happy Labor Day to the workers of OH-14! Today, we celebrate those who helped build our country and continue to work for a better future for us all."

The following day, he recognized the anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War II: "Eighty years ago today, Japan’s formal surrender marked the end of WWII. Over 400,000 Americans lost their lives in the pursuit of liberty and freedom, and we will always honor their sacrifice and bravery." This statement referenced the significant loss of American lives during the conflict.

On September 3, Joyce notified followers about upcoming legislative activity: "At 10:30 AM ET, the @HouseAppropsGOP full committee will be marking up my FY26 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Bill.
