Dave Joyce highlights STEM education efforts and new investments in Northeast Ohio

Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, shared a series of updates on his official X account this week regarding education initiatives, law enforcement, and economic investment in Northeast Ohio.

On September 23, Joyce thanked the Secretary of Education for visiting the region to discuss STEM education and vocational training. He wrote: "Thank you to @EDSecMcMahon for visiting Northeast Ohio for a roundtable to discuss the impacts of STEM education and vocational training. It was exciting to celebrate the launch of @xrpRobots in Ohio’s schools, which will provide students with cutting-edge technology and equip" (September 23, 2025).

The following day, Joyce addressed recent violence against law enforcement officials. In a post dated September 24, he stated: "The continued and escalating violence against our law enforcement officials must stop. Kelly and I are praying for the victims and their families, and we are thankful for the first responders who swiftly arrived at the scene." (September 24, 2025).

Later that same day, Joyce highlighted significant private sector investment in his district. He noted: "OH-14 continues to shine as a top-tier choice for outside investment. Happy to see @OpenAI, @Oracle, and @SoftBank choose Lordstown, Ohio, as one of the sites for their Stargate data centers." (September 24, 2025).

David Joyce has represented Ohio’s 14th District in Congress since succeeding Steve LaTourette in 2013. Born in Cleveland in 1957 and currently residing in South Russell, Joyce holds both undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Dayton.
