Dave Joyce discusses economic growth and honors local hero in recent posts

Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, recently shared updates on his engagements with local leaders and community events in Northeast Ohio through a series of posts on social media.

On August 28, 2025, Joyce posted about his participation at a regional event: "I had the pleasure of speaking at the Portage Development Board’s Local Government Breakfast at NEOMED, along with many local leaders from the region. Together, we discussed several topics, including economic growth, workforce development, and education. There are numerous https://t.co/tVNVU9oT0k".

Later that day, he highlighted ongoing discussions with Lake County officials: "Lake County’s opportunities for growth and development continue to expand, thanks to its local leaders. I was glad to meet with some of our Lake County officials to discuss ongoing issues, projects, and ways I can help the county at the federal level. https://t.co/Cnn9utJaxW" (August 28, 2025).

On August 29, Joyce attended a ceremony honoring Sergeant Wolfgang Kyle Weninger: "Sergeant Wolfgang Kyle Weninger was an exemplary athlete, soldier, brother, and son. Today, I was honored to speak at the post office renaming ceremony in his honor. https://t.co/wwWbBdX84D".

David Joyce has represented Ohio's 14th District in Congress since succeeding Steve LaTourette in 2013. Born in Cleveland in 1957 and currently residing in South Russell at age 66, Joyce is an alumnus of the University of Dayton where he earned both his undergraduate degree and law degree by 1982.
