Dave Joyce, a current U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 14th district, has recently expressed his views on various significant issues through a series of tweets. Having served in Congress since 2013, Joyce continues to be an active participant in legislative matters and public discourse.

On May 21, 2025, Dave Joyce expressed his condolences over the death of Congressman Gerry Connolly. In his tweet, he stated "I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Congressman Gerry Connolly. His dedication to his constituents and public service was admirable, and I will keep his family and all those mourning his loss in my prayers."

Later that day, Joyce acknowledged the testimony of FCC Chairman Brendan Carr before the House Appropriations Committee’s Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee. He tweeted "Thank you to @FCC Chairman Brendan Carr for testifying before the @HouseAppropsGOP Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee. We discussed the Commission’s spending plan and how it aligns with the Trump Administration’s goals to reduce regulation, strengthen".

On May 22, 2025, Joyce announced the passage of legislation known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act by the House. He commented on its significance by stating "Today, the House passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, advancing President Trump’s agenda and delivering for the American people." This move reflects continued efforts to support initiatives aligned with former President Trump's policies.

David Joyce was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1957 and currently resides in South Russell. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton obtained in 1979 and a Juris Doctor from the same institution earned in 1982.
