Dave Joyce, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 14th district, has been active on a number of legislative fronts. Through various tweets, he has highlighted his recent initiatives and engagements in Congress. Joyce, originally from Cleveland, has been serving since 2013, following the tenure of Steve LaTourette.

On April 9, 2025, Joyce tweeted about starting his morning by leading a hearing as part of the "@HouseAppropsGOP Financial Services and General Government subcommittee" with "@USGAO's Director of Physical Infrastructure." The focus was on the Government Accountability Office's (GAO) assessment of costs associated with deferred maintenance across federal government infrastructure.

The following day, April 10, Joyce addressed issues related to organized retail crime, labeling it a significant threat to businesses and consumers nationwide. He mentioned his role in Congress in "helping to lead the fight against these dangerous, large-scale thefts & criminal operations with the reintroduction of the Combating Organized Retail Crime Act."

Later on April 10, Joyce affirmed his commitment to secure and fair elections. He tweeted about the passage of the SAVE Act, stating "Ensuring fair and secure elections is common sense. The SAVE Act that we passed today will protect our democracy and elections for years to come."

In addition to his legislative work, Joyce, who was born in 1957, resides in South Russell and graduated from the University of Dayton with both a BS and a JD.
