Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, shared updates on legislative efforts and local visits through several posts on his social media accounts.

On August 7, 2025, Joyce highlighted bipartisan support for ongoing legislation in the House: "This legislation has passed the House 7 times with overwhelming bipartisan support. It’s time to push it across the finish line, and I will continue to work with my colleagues in both chambers to do so."

Later that day, Joyce described a visit to a local veterans’ service center: "Happy to tour the Portage County Veterans Service Commission’s new building today. This facility helps provide around 3,500 veterans in Portage County with services like VA benefits assistance, healthcare transportation, and emergency financial support." The Portage County Veterans Service Commission supports thousands of area veterans by providing critical resources such as help with VA benefits and emergency aid.

On August 8, Joyce marked an anniversary at a Northeast Ohio manufacturing facility: "Yesterday, I toured @TJDRetentnKnobs facility, in Mantua, Ohio. As Co-Chair of the House Manufacturing Caucus, it was an honor to commemorate them for 60 years of manufacturing in Northeast Ohio."

David Joyce has been active in Congress since succeeding Steve LaTourette in 2013. Born in Cleveland in 1957 and currently residing in South Russell at age 66, he is an alumnus of the University of Dayton where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees.
