Dave Joyce, a current U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 14th district, shared insights from his recent activities on May 14, 2025, through a series of tweets. Joyce has been serving in Congress since 2013, succeeding Steve LaTourette. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1957 and resides in South Russell.

On May 14, 2025, Joyce expressed his honor as a former prosecutor to lead the House Appropriations Committee's Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee hearing with representatives from the Judicial Conference of the United States. He noted that he "questioned them on the evolution of the threat environment facing judges".

Later that day, Joyce attended the Capitol Hill Skin Cancer Skin Check & Health Fair hosted by AADmember. As a skin cancer survivor himself, he emphasized the importance of regular check-ups and vigilance regarding skin health. He stated he was "glad to stop by" this event.

In another tweet on the same day, Joyce highlighted the significance of national infrastructure for economic and security purposes. He mentioned that the House Appropriations Committee's Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Subcommittee engaged with Secretary Duffy regarding the U.S. Department of Transportation's fiscal year 2026 budget request. He affirmed that "our nation’s railways, roads, and airways are critical to our economy and national security".

David Joyce holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton (1979) and a Juris Doctor from the same institution (1982).
