Dave Joyce, the U.S. Congressional representative for Ohio's 14th District, recently shared a series of tweets detailing his legislative efforts and professional engagements. Joyce, who has been serving in Congress since 2013, succeeds former Congress member Steve LaTourette. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Joyce pursued his education at the University of Dayton, graduating with a BS and a JD by 1982.

On April 29, 2025, Joyce announced his support of new legislation, stating, "Last night, I voted for the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which passed the House with bipartisan support. This bill will make it a federal crime to post real or fake intimate images without a person’s consent, making the internet safer for all." The Act aims to address rising concerns over privacy violations through unauthorized sharing of intimate images.

Later that day, he expressed gratitude toward visitors to his office and recognized his staff's achievements. Joyce tweeted, "Thank you to @aanacrna President-Elect Jeff Molter for stopping by my D.C. office today. I also want to congratulate my Senior Legislative Assistant, Ashley, who received AANA’s Hill Staffer of the Year Award today. In Congress, I will continue to work to improve access to". The tweet highlighted his appreciation for the visits and the dedication of his team.

On April 30, 2025, Joyce provided updates on a governmental hearing he led, describing, "This morning, I led a @HouseAppropsGOP Financial Services and General Government subcommittee hearing with the @USPS Inspector General. Among other things, we discussed the Postal Service’s Delivering for America plan and its impact on rural communities." The focus of the discussion was the USPS's strategies under the Delivering for America plan, particularly concerning its effects on rural areas.

Joyce's ongoing legislative activities and recognition of supportive efforts in both his office and the wider government landscape emphasize his commitment to his role as a Congressional representative.
