State Senator Jerry Cirino | The Ohio Senate
State Senator Jerry C. Cirino, a Republican from Kirtland, has been appointed as the Chair of the Senate Finance Committee in Columbus. This committee is responsible for formulating Ohio's main operating budget, capital budget, and other budgets and appropriations.
"I am truly honored to chair this essential committee to keep Ohio moving forward," Cirino stated. "It is imperative we are good stewards of your taxpayer dollars and make sure those funds are properly utilized. I look forward to working with my colleagues to accomplish our goals for our state's continued prosperity and progress."
In addition to his new role as Chair of the Senate Finance Committee, Senator Cirino will serve on several other committees. These include Higher Education as Vice Chair, Energy, Housing, Rules and Reference, and the Controlling Board.
