David Joyce, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 14th district, shared his thoughts on recent events and policy actions through a series of tweets. Joyce has been serving in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Steve LaTourette. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1957 and currently resides in South Russell.

On November 17, 2024, Joyce addressed the issue of antisemitism following events in Columbus. He stated: "The events yesterday in Columbus are a disturbing reminder of the antisemitism that continues to grow across the globe. We all have a responsibility to confront this cancerous hate."

On November 18, 2024, Joyce expressed optimism about economic growth due to workforce enhancements. He noted: "This addition will help spur economic growth and ensure American businesses have the workforce they need to thrive."

In another tweet on November 18, he discussed efforts to address labor shortages by advocating for an increase in H-2B visas alongside Rep. Andy Harris and urged action from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He reported: "With chronic labor shortages across the country, I joined @RepAndyHarrisMD in urging @DHSgov for an increase in H-2B visas – granted only if there are insufficient U.S. workers to fill the positions. On Friday, DHS officially approved nearly 65K additional H-2B visas."
