Lake County General Health District issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Lake County has moved down to the Red Alert Level on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System.
This is the first time Lake County has triggered Indicator #7, ICU Bed Capacity. This indicator is flagged if the percentage of the occupied adult ICU beds in each region goes above 80%
for at least three days in the last week, AND more than 20% of adult ICU beds are being used for COVID-19 positive patients for at least three days in the last week.
