Lake Metroparks issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
New amenities at the west entrance of Indian Point Park include a 180-foot pedestrian bridge spanning the Grand River, a playground, and parking and picnic areas.
Hardly incidental in the victory that is the new Vrooman Road Bridge is the makeover Indian Point Park has received.
With the span between Interstate 90 in Perry and Leroy townships complete, the popular Lake Metroparks property is now accessible from Old Vrooman Road south of state Route 84.
