On Tuesday, March 18, former Willoughby South High School standouts Gavin McArther and Nico Frizell’s current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, lost 15-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at Eastwood Field. This was their first matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at CCSU Baseball Field against Central Connecticut Blue Devils.
