Nye Road Apartments Shooting
On September 23, 2022 at 2:15 a.m., the Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 900 building of 120 Nye Road Painesville Township for a discharge of a firearm into a habitation. Deputies arrived on scene and located two 9mm shell casings in the parking lot. Further investigation revealed one round went through an exterior screen, through a window causing the glass to break, and through the interior curtain. The second bullet was located in the window frame. The investigation revealed two males arrived at the apartment complex and were engaged in some type of verbal altercation with tenants in a unit of the 900 building. As a result of this investigation by the Detective Bureau, Samuel Camarillo-Hernandez was charged with improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation, a second-degree Felony. Samuel is currently incarcerated in the Lake County Jail pending bond being posted. An arrest warrant was issued for Terrance Tyreek Williams for the same charge and he was located 10-19-2022 and arrested. A firearm was recovered during this investigation and will be sent to the Lake County Crime Lab for analysis.
