Lake County General Health District issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office on Smoking and Health released the following tobacco-related article in the CDC journal.
The article outlines findings from a national 2019 survey, from which 1 in 5 adults reported currently using a tobacco product.
Cigarettes were the most commonly used tobacco product, followed by e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, and pipes.
Analysis of survey results also indicated that disparities in tobacco use continue to persist.
