North Madison home prices fall in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in North Madison fell by $9,000 while total sales decreased by 7.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,900 - a 6.9% decrease over the $129,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in North Madison in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in North Madison for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,378, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
