Dave Joyce, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 14th district since 2013, recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing religious observance, military families, and community partnerships.
On September 22, 2025, Joyce extended greetings to those observing the Jewish New Year: "To everyone who celebrates, I want to wish you a blessed Rosh Hashanah. May the new year bring hope, peace, and prosperity."
Later that day, he highlighted the contributions of military families and his legislative support for them: "The sacrifices our military families make for our country often go unrecognized, and it is important to acknowledge the debt we owe to them. I cosponsored a resolution marking this week as Gold Star Families Remembrance Week, to honor our surviving families and the troops who" (September 22, 2025).
On September 23, Joyce commented on his engagement with local officials in Ohio’s 14th district: "It was a pleasure to attend! A strong federal-local partnership is part of building thriving communities, and I look forward to working with local officials on the issues that affect the people of OH-14."
David Joyce has served in Congress since replacing Steve LaTourette in 2013. Born in Cleveland in 1957 and currently residing in South Russell at age 66, he holds both undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Dayton.
