Lake County Utilities issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
Effective November 23, 2020, and based upon guidance from the Lake County General Health District, the Lake County Department of Utilities Administration Office, the Billing/Customer Service Office and the Sanitary Engineering Office will be closed to the general public. If necessary, appointments can be scheduled for an in-person meeting. All guests will be required to enter via the main entrance of the new Administration Center and will be subject to a temperature check by the Lake County Sheriff Deputy on duty. We will maintain normal operating hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Most Utility-related functions can be completed by telephone, e-mail, US postal service, or by fax.
